Underwood Farm is a 50-acre farm certified organic by the Soil association, dedicated to growing fresh vegetables for the local community. Run by Kate and Calum, the farm thrives with the support of both employees and volunteers. Underwood Farm is guided by its values of environmental stewardship, community well-being, and financial sustainability. We are proudly working toward a national farming system that honors the principles of food sovereignty.
Our produce
The farm grows produce for a 50 member local box scheme that delivers direct to households, it supplies local shops and restaurants like Top Joes Pizzaria, Manorbier castle inn, Manorbier house, Feast at the Quay, Paternoster Farm and The Little Pantry. The farm also grows vegetables as part of the Welsh veg into Schools project. Welsh Veg in Schools is a pilot project co-ordinated by Food Sense Wales that aims to get more organically produced Welsh veg into primary school meals across Wales. The farm also works with Pobl, Tir, Mor CIC and the VC gallery in providing accessible pathways to eating organic vegetables.
